Work: Prior to Ordination, I began my working life in the printing Industry, serving an apprenticeship in Printing Techniques with the Boots Company (Boots Print) in Nottingham (1983-‐1991).

Ordination and Ministry: My ministry began iin North East London in 1994. Subsequently, I have studied in Oxford, worked in Essex (Chelmsford Diocese) and in South Yorkshire – initially as Team Vicar and then as Rector of the United Benefice of Penistone and Thurlstone Team Ministry.

My General interests: Family, children, walking ‘Daisy’(our black Labrador) keeping hens and I enjoy painting/drawing when I get the time.

My interests within Church life: I am passionate about making connections between church and community life. In my view it is important for the church to be able to see the whole community as its parish and not as some set‐apart or exclusive club. It is important for people of the wider community to be able to get to know and to love their local church – with its doors open wide -‐ and to feel a sense of belonging. In so doing members of both the church and wider community may be touched by the friendships they encounter and possibly come to know the rich blessings of God.
